Do you take insurance?
No, elective ultrasound appointments are NOT covered by insurance since they are not part of routine prenatal care, no medical information is obtained or provided during the session, nor is this a diagnostic or clinical medical exam ordered by your physician intended to assess the well being of your baby. Insurance will not cover an elective ultrasound.
How do you take payment?
We accept cash, credit/debit, , Apple pay as acceptable payment options, Afterpay
When is the best time to schedule?
- 2D anytime beginning at 6 weeks through your entire pregnancy
- 3/4D/HD Live anytime, however best results begin 28-34 weeks
Is ultrasound safe for my baby?

Can you keep the gender a surprise during the ultrasound session and put the results in a sealed envelope?
Yes, absolutely! During a Sneak Peek Ultrasound session please note if you want to know during your session or if you will be having the gender put into a sealed envelope.
How accurate is the gender determination of my baby’s sex?
The Sneak Peek genetic gender determination is 99.99% accurate beginning at 6 wks.
How does the SneakPeek test work?
SneakPeek utilizes the natural process of shared fetal DNA circulating inside the mother’s bloodstream.
The lab uses PCR technology to detect the presence or absence of male Y chromosome in the blood sample provided beginning at 6 weeks into pregnancy. If a Y chromosome is detected then the baby’s gender is male and if it is not detected then the baby’s gender is female.
Do I need a full bladder for my ultrasound?
If you are 12+ weeks, you do not need a full bladder, however we would like for you to if you are able to
Do we still have to wear masks (protective face covering) or show proof of COVID vaccination?
No, but please feel free to wear a mask if you are more comfortable, however, our staff will not be wearing a mask.
Can I bring guests and is there an age limit?
We not only welcome guests, we encourage it. We do NOT impose any restrictions or limitations on the people you want to have with you at your appointment. We feel it is vital to include and involve those loved ones during this magical time in your life as you begin a new chapter, as long as your guest are comfortable with standing for a certain period of time
What if my baby doesn’t cooperate?
No guarantees can be made or has been made at the time of the imaging as to the picture or video quality and/or content of the imaging due to circumstances beyond the control of Keepsake Prenatal Imaging, including, but not limited to: the position of the fetus(es), position of the placenta, mother’s body habitus or position of the internal organs of the mother.
Can I get a refund if my baby doesn’t cooperate?
****Refunds will not be granted for any circumstances, as we provide a service, not a product****
How long does the appointment take?
This is dependent on the ultrasound session you choose, typically 5-20 minutes
What if the sonographer sees something concerning on the elective ultrasound?
While the sonographer is not specifically evaluating any fetal anatomy, we will contact your provider if there is something that is life threatening to mom or baby incidentally visualized on the elective ultrasound or there are no fetal heart tones.
